I want you and and/or your child to feel comfortable with me from the moment we first meet - and I work hard to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere.

In addition, I bring over 15 years of  experience with individuals, children, teens, and families and a wealth of training in many areas, including Play Therapy (such as Theraplay, sandtray, art therapy, and experiential play), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and Family Systems.

As a mom, I understand the importance of family relationships from a personal perspective, as well.

I have a Master’s Degree in Family Therapy from Friend’s University and Bachelors Degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Baker University.

My previous work sites include residential centers, church, and community mental health agency settings, as well as private practice.
